Chicago, the Musical
Friday, May 9th, 2008Because I am a professional composer, I decided I wanted to live in a city known for its music. Musicians often feed off of each other and I wanted to be somewhere where there is a strong musical synergy.
This is how I came to the decision to re-locate to Chicago. Not only does it have a strong musical history, it is currently producing many great artists. Chicago is perfect. Well, almost perfect. It is a lot more expensive than the small town I am from. Event though I had sold my moderately large house back home, I knew I had to look for something small. My real estate agent put in a lot of time helping me look for a place. She was ultimately able to find me a home that was much larger than what I had expected, for a price that was a lot less than expected!
I plan on spending all the money I saved on going to see some great music acts. Now my only problem is deciding which ones to attend. There are so many talented musicians performing in the city every single night! I owe it all to the agent I found through Real Estate Agents in Chicago.
