I have always loved sailing. It is one of my passions. The first thing I did when I moved to Chicago was buy a sailboat. I sail whenever I get a chance, so it was very important to me to find a condominium near the marina.

It is amazing to have both the luxury of a big city condominium and my sailboat in close proximity to each other. Obviously, there are less marinas than condominiums, so I was forced to look for a residence based on where my boat is parked.

Normally this would probably be a hassle. Lucky for me, I had a great real estate agent to help me find a place near my boat. I ended up in a roomy two bedroom condo right across the street from the marina. How lucky is that? The condominium is large, charming, and not too expensive. I am really grateful to Chicago real estate agents for helping me find the place. Now, if they could only help me find a bigger boat!

A city with as much culture as Chicago is hard to come by. It is very ethnically diverse, and there are many culture events. Chicago has a large music, dance, and theatre following.

There are also many city-sponsored events year round that are open to everyone such as Blues Fest and Taste of Chicago. Chicago has many large museums, an aquarium and a zoo.

With so many sports teams, there are sporting events year round. With so many things to do, Chicago has become an exciting city to live in. The population in the city grows yearly and the space available diminishes. This means it is not only more difficult to find housing, it is inevitably more expensive. This is why it is important to shop around before deciding on a place to live.

Even though it is more difficult to find a nice place at a good price, it is not impossible. There are plenty of good deals on housing in Chicago; it is only a matter of finding them. When I first began looking for a place, I had no idea where to look. Luckily I found a great agent to do the looking for me, through www.realestateagentsinchicago.com.

When my job decided to move me from New York to Chicago, I was less than pleased. Don’t get me wrong, I think Chicago is awesome. Chicago is a big city but New York feels like the center of the universe. I just didn’t want to feel like I was sacrificing any luxuries by moving to a smaller city.

Well, I found out that Chicago has the same luxuries to offer as the Big Apple, for less. So I went from being slightly disappointed to being totally thrilled! I bought an amazing condominium on Michigan Avenue for a little less what I paid for the one in New York. My Chicago condominium is at least four times bigger, and it is in the best possible location.

I couldn’t get anything like it for this price in New York. Also, it was so much easier to find a great real estate agent in Chicago. A friend of mine referred me to Real Estate In Chica Goil. They were able to find me the condominium in no time with no complications. It could never be this easy in New York. Although Chicago is technically the “second city,” it is number one in my book!
